Living the Craft of Story
My name is Alessia and I've spent most of my adult life working with stories. It began in the creative arts, through photography and writing, learning how to notice small details, how light changes a feeling, how a single sentence can hold something profoundly true. Later, working in films, I learned how structure holds emotion, how words carry weight, how what is left unsaid can be just as powerful as what is spoken. I've spent years working with scripts, listening for rhythm, refining language, and honouring the arc of a narrative. Storytelling wasn't just something I studied; it was something I practiced daily.
I learned how meaning is crafted. How connection is built. How powerful it is when people feel seen inside a story. Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural continuation of my work, a way to bring storytelling out of the screen and back into community. And this work is personal. Every ceremony I create becomes a small part of my own story too: a shared place, a shared time, a circle of people I've had the honour to hold.
I care deeply for the ones I stand beside. I don't take lightly the responsibility of shaping words that will be remembered. There is no universal script. There is only presence, attention, and the quiet craft of weaving many threads into one story that belongs to your community. Because ceremony is storytelling at its most human, and it is a privilege to hold it with you.

My Calling
Celebrancy found me before I went looking for it, called in by the people around me. Writing and performance have always been part of who I am, and this work is where they found their purpose.
My Presence
Energetic, warm, and fun, but also grounded and deeply present. There is a lot of work behind the scenes so that on the day, everything simply feels like love.
My Promise
To be your guide and collaborator through every step, and to create a space that is open and honest. Just warmth, ease, and the certainty that you are seen, held, and never walking this alone.
